What’s the difference between an iguana and a chinese water dragon?
I went to a pet store yesterday and they had two tanks (they had more, of course, but two that are relevant) and one was labeled "Juvenile Green iguanas" It had some baby green iguanas in it. Then the tank next to it was labeled "Chinese water dragons" and it had two lizards in it... but the only thing is, they looked a LOT like the baby green iguanas. Did they just run out of room in the iguana tank and put the left overs in a spare tank with the wrong label, or are they similar in appearance? Anything else about them?

I actually own both types of lizards so I think I can help you out. Green Iguanas or Iguana Iguana in Latin is a basically herbivorous reptile living mainly in the South American region growing to approximately 6 feet in length snout to tail and are fairly intelligent. Chinese Water dragons on the other hand are much smaller in size. About 18-24 inches in total length. Are primarily insecivores and inhabit the Indo-Chinese rain forests.
