What is an acceptable temperature to keep a Cockatiel at?

This winter seems particularly cold and the hallway where we keep our Cockatiel seems really cold. I checked the temperature yesterday during the day and it was 18 C. I have no idea what it drops to over night but we cover her cage with a sheet to keep her warm.

What is a reasonable temperature for a Cockatiel? I know she has feathers and wild Cockatiels have to survive without the benefits of a house but this still sound rather cold to me.

That temperature is ok for your bird it is not cold that kills ,but draughts and lack of food , which your’s will not be lacking

I kept Cockatiels in aviaries in temperature at minus 8 c they were out during the day but went into their shelter at night where I had heaters but the were only set at 12 c.and they came to no harm,if your bird is lethargic and seems to be cold then take it into a warmer room ,but otherwise I see no problems.
