How much should i expect to pay for a green iguana…id like it to be a baby so i could watch it grow. i am well aware of how much it will cost for its habitat,food and vet costs.
it depends on where you get it and before you get it, how much are the vet bills going to be? i have done rescue and rehab and can tell you that they can get up there. anyhow if you get it from a pet store expect to pa up to 20 if you go to a breeder depending on the time of year it can range from 7.00 to 14.99 they do not have the overhead to pay they also can catch them wild which is wrong!
you can use a tank for a short while but be prepared the bigger it gets the bigger the cost do as well. a large enclosure with the proper heat, lights basking area feeding area etc can run upwards of 300 and the food gets up there too if you ree feeding properly
