Can dogs sense when an earthquake is coming?

My dog has been acting up lately, and I heard that there might be an earthquake this summer. She stays outside and usually is calm. But now she just wants to get inside my house, like she’s in danger from something. And for some odd reason, I think the two (dogs and earthquakes) are related. Aha. Or maybe she just wants to feel safe. I’ve checked outside and they aren’t signs of any animals. Seriously, I checked over my gate with a flashlight. I even sneaked a peak into my neighbors’ yards. Shh. But yeah. Any answers?

They can, but I don’t think that far ahead of time. We had an earthquake here this past April (first I can ever remember us having) and my puppy that sleeps with me shot up out of bed and started running around and barking, and when I went to find out what was wrong and calm him down, the earthquake started. It was pretty crazy. He was my little warning system.
